About the Event

IR-4 will host the next biennial Environmental Horticulture Workshop from October 7-8, 2025, in Kansas City, Missouri. At this event, stakeholders involved in the Environmental Horticulture Program will collaborate to set national and regional research priorities for the next two-year cycle. We will update this page continually as the event approaches. We hope to see you in Kansas City!

Workshop Registration

Registration is now open for the 2025 Environmental Horticulture Workshop. The following rates are applicable for both in-person and virtual attendees:

Early Bird Rate (until midnight on September 25): $400
Regular Registration Rate (at midnight or after on September 26): $500

September 29 is the final day to request a cancellation and refund for the 2025 Workshop. The Zoom link for the Workshop will be sent to registered participants after this date.

Booking a Room
The window for booking a room at our block rate is now closed, but rooms may still be available at the market rate. Alternate hotel options are also listed below.

Hotel Transportation and Parking
The hotel does not offer an airport shuttle; we recommend using a taxi or rideshare service. Information about the ground transportation offered at the Kansas City International Airport can be found here.

For those driving, the hotel offers controlled-access self parking at $15.00 per night.
