New Video Introduces Lina Quesada-Ocampo

Posted on April 15, 2026 — Hannah Ross

IR-4’s new Executive Director, Lina Quesada-Ocampo, joined us in March. In this new short video, Lina shares her journey to IR-4, her vision for our future, and her deep commitment to serving specialty crop stakeholders.

“Science is not just about the information, but about overcoming the regulatory hurdles to be able to get tools in people’s hands. And that’s where I think IR-4 plays a really, really critical role. We are there to break those barriers for farmers.” -Lina Quesada-Ocampo

We invite you to take a few minutes to get to know Lina and hear about her collaborative, grower-focused vision for IR-4. As Lina gets settled in her new role, we look forward to the many opportunities we’ll have to introduce her to the IR-4 community in person; for now, enjoy the video.

In case you missed it, check out the new director story we released in February.
