Nomination Period for Food Use Workshop Begins August 18

Posted on August 18, 2021September 14, 2021 — Jennifer Heiss

The project nomination period for the 2021 Food Use Workshop opened on Wednesday, August 18. Requests that were submitted for residue studies, product performance or integrated solutions research in 2022 must be nominated in order to be considered at the 2021 workshop. The nomination period will end on Wednesday, September 1, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Projects can be nominated as “A”, “B”, or “C” level priorities. Only projects given at least one “A” nomination (the highest nomination level) will be discussed at the 2021 Food Use Workshop taking place September 13 – 16.

Project nominations may be made in one of two ways:

Submit Through Your Regional Field Coordinator (Preferred): Submit a list of project requests you’d like to nominate as “A”, “B”, or “C”, as well as a justification for any “A” nominations, to your designated IR-4 regional field coordinator. Requests must be received by your regional field coordinator by no later than Wednesday, September 1, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Self Nomination: If you choose to nominate a project yourself, you can do so using the Food Use Data Management System. New system users will need to create an account. Once logged in, you will arrive at the project nominations site. From there, click the “Food Use” or “Integrated Solutions” button and follow the subsequent instructions to submit your nominations.

If you encounter any difficulties making your nominations, please contact your designated regional field coordinator or the following IR-4 headquarters personnel for assistance.
